History
In 1998, the CMA Foundation established
the Corporate Advisory Committee for several reasons; (1)
to provide core operating support for the Foundation, (2)
promote collaboration among healthcare stake holders, and
(3) draw upon the expertise of corporate advisors in developing
and sustaining the programs and projects of the CMA Foundation.
The Corporate Advisory Committee meets twice a year - at
the CMA House of Delegates in the fall and the CMA Leadership
Academy in the spring.
Goals Statement
The following goals statement was developed by
the Corporate Advisory Committee and approved by the CMA Foundation
Board of Directors:
"It is the goal of the CMA Foundation Corporate Advisory
Committee to promote collaborations among the corporate advisors,
health care professionals, community leaders, health care
industry leaders and the Foundation to promote the ability
of the CMA Foundation to improve individual and community
health.
In support of the goal, the CMA Foundation Corporate Advisory
Committee is committed to expanding its membership and providing
consultation and advice to the Foundation on current and proposed
projects."
