J. Mario Molina, MD has been the President and Chairman of Molina Healthcare, Inc. since 1998 where he previously served as Medical Director, Vice President, and CEO. Dr. Molina is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine, prior to which he had been appointed as an Assistant Professor of Medicine from 1990 to 1991 and a Veterans Administration Associate Investigator from 1987 to 1990. He is affiliated with the California Medical Association, American Diabetes Association, American College of Physicians, and Johns Hopkins Medical and Surgical Association.

Dr. Molina is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners, American Board of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology and Metabolism. His board positions include Aquarium of the Pacific, Homeboy Industries, Trustee of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and New American Alliance.

Dr. Molina received his undergraduate degree from California State University, Long Beach in 1970 and his medical degree from the University of Southern California in 1984. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine and residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, and his fellowship at University of California San Diego. Dr. Molina resides in Long Beach and is married with four children.
