Ways of giving


Established Funds
The CMA Foundation has several Established Funds that support its programs and activities as well as various grant and internship programs.

General Edowment Fund: Income generated from the General Endowment Fund will allow the Foundation to develop new programs that respond to pressing public health issues in a timely manner.

Robert D. Sparks, MD Leadership Fund: This fund supports the annual Robert D. Sparks, MD Leadership Award given to an individual or group that has shown outstanding concern for the health of communities.

Gary F. Krieger, MD Memorial Fund: The fund allows the Foundation to distribute grants to support efforts focusing on children and/or young physicians.

Pacific Coast Funds:
Frank Lynch Memorial Fund
Theodore W. Adams Scholarship Fund
Charles Kimball Memorial Fund

Steven M. Thompson Access to Care Internship Program Fund: Contributions fund an internship program located in the CMA's Center for Government Relations. The program is open to all qualified undergraduate and graduate students interested in pursuing research related to access to care in medically underserved areas in California.

Adarsh S. Mahal, MD Access to Health Care and Disparities Endowment: This fund supports an annual award given to an individual or organization that has demonstrated efforts to improve access to care and reduce health care disparities for all Californians.
