The CMA Foundation Board of Directors is proud to announce the launch of the Legacy of Caring Campaign. The Campaign will build an Endowment for the CMA Foundation.

The CMA Foundation projects are recognized around the state and have garnered national attention and recognition. From addressing the growing crisis of emerging antibiotic resistance to encouraging tobacco free pharmacies, we have reached out to hundreds of communities around California. We are addressing the tough issues regarding disparities in health outcomes and identifying and training physician champions to address the epidemic of Childhood Type 2 Diabetes and Obesity. We have provided dozens of grants to medical students to work in the community on a myriad of projects - mentoring, health education, and improving access to care.

Our work has just begun! We feel a responsibility to strengthen these programs and initiate new ones that will make a difference in the lives of the people of California.

The Legacy of Caring Endowment Campaign is critical to making this difference. Our goal is to raise $20 million for the Endowment. Raising these funds represents one of the most exciting and ambitious challenges our Foundation has faced. The Endowment Fund will become the cornerstone for expansion and strengthening our key programs and initiating new projects.
