CMA FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES RESIDENT/FELLOW AND YOUNG PHYSICIAN GRANT PROGRAM


The CMA Foundation is pleased to announce a new Grant Program that will award two grants of $500.00 each, one to residents/fellows and the other to young physician members, to support projects that promote community health and well-being.

All resident/fellow and young physician CMA members are eligible to apply for the grants.

A one-page, 250 words maximum, statement describing the project/program and how it contributes to the community, along with proposed budget and timeline indicating expenses, is required to apply.

Applications are due on September 1st. Grant Awardees will be announced on October 1st. Applications are available on-line.

Building a Strong Community from the Inside Out


Dear Friends of Osteoporosis:

In recognition of Osteoporosis Awareness Month, the California Medical Association Foundation is pleased to provide you with our new osteoporosis awareness toolkit: Building a Strong Community from the Inside Out. This toolkit was made possible by a grant from the Aetna Foundation.

Included in the toolkit are resources for you to implement in your community, including Fact Sheets, PSAs, Newsletter Articles, and Consumer and Patient handouts.

Please share the materials in the toolkit with your members and other partners.
